Church of the Redeemer is a multicultural, multigenerational, non-denominational megachurch located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Their mission is to connect people to God and His church, grow people into faithful followers of Jesus, and sow back people into the Kingdom of God. Redeemer has four campuses across the area. Kingdom Technology Partners has been trusted with all A/V infrastructure engineering, staffing, technological upgrades, and routine maintenance.

Case Study #1: Production Room & Broadcast Studio Renovation

Background:

Church of the Redeemer has at least 11 scheduled services across their campuses. Additionally, their online campus provides a vital role in ensuring that congregants that aren’t able to attend physically are still able to watch a service. The main campus at Gaithersburg serves as the hub to the other campuses. The Senior Pastor is able to deliver his sermon via a “live” broadcast through a DVR to the other campuses, allowing them to connect, using the same sermon. Volunteers are used to run all cameras, switchers, and presentation technology. Because of this, it is important that all technical equipment installed are user friendly and that the volunteers are properly trained.

With always changing technology, Redeemer’s production room was renovated three times over the span of 10 years with technical upgrades. Kingdom Technology Partners was able to oversee these renovations and ensured that the upgrades allowed for technological advancement in the future. During the first renovation, 3 SD floor cameras and a HDjib camera were installed. Currently, Church of the Redeemer has 4 updated HD floor cameras, 1 jib with and HD camera, 2 mobile HD floor cameras, 8 stationary HD stage cameras, and 2 robotic HD cameras.

Case Study #2: Infrastructure & Engineering

When Redeemer was looking around to expand in the Clarksburg, MD area, Kingdom Technology Partners’ engineers were used to assess the property for technological ideas. This included locations for the production rooms, audio booths, LED structural hang sites, and visual upgrades in classrooms.

Redeemer secured multi unit office spaces and our engineers were able to work with the builders to combine the units for the technological upgrade. All infrastructural wiring and equipment installations were handled by our team from start to finish. Presently, Kingdom Technology Partners is responsible for staffing special events and conduct routine maintenance at the Clarksburg Campus.

Case Study #3: Routine Maintenance

Redeemer’s production room and equipment racks up a lot of hours. Additionally, with light fixtures being on most of the day, it’s important to maintain them. Lights are very important for broadcast because if one bulb is out, the quality of video streamed to their other campuses and the online community will diminish. Kingdom Technology Partners services Redeemer’s equipment on a weekly basis across their campuses. At the same time, equipment is being serviced and updated for the following week’s service.
